7 - Belgium - Technical Chain Reaction

Hi to all you scientists and fans,

Qworzó - Belgium proudly presents its technical chain reaction 2017!

Some weeks ago 7 brilliant engineers mastered to create a water-bottle-rocket for a science competition which could fly in the air for about 10 seconds.

Now we wanted to create a Rube Goldberg Machine to launch our rocket.

We hope you may enjoy watching our chain as much as we did while building it!

We look forward to watching all your chains appear to the blog! We want to wish you the best of luck with the voting in a couple of weeks and we look forward to reading your comments!

Please share our video wherever you want!

Kind regards,

The children in year 6 at Qworzó, Merksplas, Belgium

  1. Belgium, Belgium Belgium!!
You never fail to amaze with your outstanding chain reactions!
I think the rocket is definitely another first for this project - we seem to have something new coming with several of the entries this year! And, what dramatic music too!
Well done, and best of luck in the voting from us here in Scotland.

  2. Wow, this needs to be watched several times. So much going on there!
What did the mobile phone do? Did its vibration push the car forward or what?

    1. Hi Steffen,

The mobile phone has a needle which triggers the balloon to explode/implode. That explosion triggers the pull-back car to drive away and pull a rope. This rope was tied to a small piece of paper that blocked the way of a the marble...
